What Is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy was founded over two hundred years ago by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, M.D., a German physician. Homeopathy is a safe, natural, holistic way to treat acute and chronic problems in people, including infants and children. It also is effective for dogs, cats, horses, cows, plants, fish, birds, and other living organisms.
Most homeopathic remedies are made from animal, mineral and plant products. A small amount of one of these substances is then diluted to get to different potencies. Once they are diluted (by Sucussion/shaking) the liquid is poured over sugar pellets. The pellet form is one of the most popular ways available for people to take homeopathic remedies.
Homeopathy is used worldwide
All homeopathic remedies are made under the regulations and auspices of the FDA. They are very safe to ingest. The World Health Organization (WHO) identifies Homeopathy as the second most popular system of healthcare in the world.
Homeopathy is used in countries around the world, often in place of, or in concert with traditional medications. Even England’s royal family and the late Queen Elizabeth II are known to be devotees of homeopathy.
Homeopathy is based on tried and true methods and the laws of similars."Like cures like" is the guiding light of this methodology. This means that substance from a plant, mineral, animal (milk), or insect sting/bite (for instance) that could cause a problem in a healthy person can be used in its highly diluted homeopathic form to stimulate a cure in another person with those same symptoms. The remedies currently in use - and there are thousands of them - have been proven reliable over time. New remedies continue to be uncovered by the continued research and study by homeopaths around the world.
